There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town.
One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit.. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak....

"I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright.

I stopped the lad and asked, "What do you have there, son?"

"Just some old birds, "came the reply".

"What are you going to do with them?" I asked.

"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered. "I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time."

"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do then?"

"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."

The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, son?"

"Huh ?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister.

They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"

"How much?" the pastor asked again.

The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot. Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free. Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story:

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught a world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"

"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.

Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"

"And what will you do when you are done with them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly.

"How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked.

"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"

"How much? He asked again.

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."

Jesus said, "DONE!" Then He paid the price.

The pastor picked up the cage and walked from the pulpit.

PwC taints Felda's listing

I have been following this 'corporate' blog over a year now. Its interesting in the sense that it carries allegations that nobody - including the Securities Commission boss Zarinah Anwar - had made no attempt to deny it.

Its attacks on auditing firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) also contain proofs and strong arguments.

In its latest series of 'corporate allegations', Zarinahtakesapaycut claims that the listing of Felda Global Ventures Holding is being manipulated by PwC boss Johan Raslan & Gang.

The listing, it says should rightfully be an event that will bring great joy to the Felda settlers "but could there be a fly in the ointment that we are missing, that can turn what should be tears of joy into genuine tears of sorrow and grief....?

"The numbers are now being crunched by PwC Malaysia, in preparation for the listing of FGVH, and therein lies the problem.

"Will institutional investors trust an audit done by PwC Malaysia? Will any investor worth his salt trust an audit done by an audit firm like PwC Malaysia that fabricates documents and submits them in a bundle to a Court of Law?

"Is it worth risking the future of thousands of settlers and their families, when the proof of fabrication comes out in open court, and the forgers are found to be the very same chaps running the audit firm behind the Felda listing?"

According to the blogger, a PwC insider told them there was evident of fabrication of documents by the auditing firm for the listing, and that evidence is going to come out in open court in February.

To add insult to injury, 'a little bird says that Chin Kwai Fatt (Johan's partner in PwC) himself will be shown as having fabricated one of the documents during the trial...'

"PM Najib, we, the group of six behind this blog, are fully behind you, but we must ask you this painful question. Can you risk having the misdeeds of PwC Malaysia and Johan Raslan costing you crucial votes in GE 13?

"Can we risk having the Felda settlers angry with the outcome of the listing simply because investors everywhere start hearing caveat emptor whenever someone whispers PwC Malaysia into their ears?"

Dalam tahun-tahun awalan lapan puluhan ada seorang yang semasa itu merupakan seorang veteran yang duduk bersama kami sebagai AJK UMNO Bahagian di tempat saya, bernama Yassin Mahmud. Beliau sudah tiada lagi bersama kita kerana beliau telah pergi menghadap Allah yang Maha Esa. Beliau seorang guru dan beliau juga adalah seorang yang serius tetapi nampak periang sifatnya. Beliau pernah menelah yang UMNO akan menjadi apa yang kita lihat pada hari ini, iaitu sebuah parti untuk 'warlords' dan beliau selalu membuka cerita UMNO ini dengan memberikan anologi yang melucukan terhadap apa yang akan terjadi kepada parti ini.

Beliaulah yang membuka cerita yang bertajuk 'anjing sukum' dan cerita ini pernah saya tulis tiga tahun dahulu. Anjing sukum ini pada beliau ialah anjing buruan yang taat kepada bossnya dan akan melakukan apa sahaja untuk menghambat segala binatang buruan bossnya untuk bossnya melapah dan memakan haiwan buruan, lebihan dari yang telah di jual oleh pemburu itu.

Anjing sukum ini dibela oleh pemburu itu guna untuk membantunya menghambat binatang buruan seperti rusa dan apabila rusa itu telah dihambat dan tidak berdaya untuk melarikan diri pemburu itu akan menembaknya. Setelah rusa itu jatuh maka pemburu itu akan menyembelih rusa yang di hambat oleh anjing sukum itu tadi.

Sedang pemburu itu melapah daging-daging rusa tersebut, anjing-anjing sukum ini menyalak-nyalak untuk mendapatkan habuan dan upah menghambat rusa itu tadi. Pemburu pantas memotong tulang-tulang rusa itu dan membalingkan tulang-tulang tersebut kepada tujuh lapan ekor anjing sukum itu. Maka anjing sukum itu pun terus diam sahaja dan berpuas hati dengan upah tulang-tulang yang dilemparkan oleh bossnya itu.

Pemburu itu terus sahaja melapah dan mendapat daging batang pinang dan lain-lain dari rusa tersebut. "Itu sahajalah gunanya kita di bawah ini kepada pemimpin-pemimpin kita.. Mereka nak jadikan kita macam anjing sukum sahaja" kata embong Yassin. Banyak pelajaran yang didapati dari orang-orang lama ini dan mereka tahu semua nilai kemanusiaan pemimpin-pemimpin UMNO walaupun semasa itu keadaan tidaklah begitu teruk seperti yang kita hadapi pada hari ini.

Sekarang apa yang diceritakan oleh embong Yassin itu memang benar-benar berlaku. Ramai di antara ahli-ahli UMNO nampaknya hanya dijadikan sebagai anjing buruan semata-mata. Kerjanya memburu musuh-musuh mereka dengan menggunakan anjing sukum ini untuk menghambat mereka yang di musuhi oleh boss-boss mereka.

Ada yang berjaya dan ada yang masih tidak mampu diburu. Itu sahajalah cerita pendek saya. Masa dan waktu mencemburui saya dan saya belum ada masa untuk menulis bahan-bahan serius yang lain buat hari ini.

How an idiot got into Heaven

Three men: a philosopher, a mathematician and an idiot, were out riding in the car when it crashed into a tree. Before anyone knows it, the three men found themselves standing before the Gates of Heaven, where the Devil was standing nearby.

"Gentlemen," the Devil started, "Due to the fact that Heaven is now overcrowded, it was agreed to limit the number of people entering Heaven. If anyone of you can ask me a question which I don't know or cannot answer, then you're worthy enough to go to Heaven; if not, then you'll come with me to Hell."

The philosopher then stepped up, "OK, give me the most comprehensive report on Socrates' teachings," With a snap of his finger, a stack of paper appeared next to the Devil. The philosopher read it and had to conclude that everything was there. "Then, go to Hell!" With another snap of his finger, the philosopher disappeared.

The mathematician then asked, "Give me the most complicated formula you can ever think of!" With a snap of his finger, another stack of paper appeared. The mathematician read it and reluctantly agreed it was correct. "Then, go to Hell!" With another snap of his finger, the mathematician disappeared too.

The idiot then stepped forward and said, "Bring me a chair!"

The Devil brought forward a chair.

"Drill 7 holes on the seat."

The Devil did just that.

The idiot then sat on the chair and let out a very loud fart. Standing up, he asked, "Which hole did my fart come out from?"

The Devil inspected the seat and said, "The third hole from the right."

"Wrong," said the idiot, "it's from my asshole."

The idiot went to Heaven.

Dalam video ini Guan Eng bukan saja berjaya melunaskan janji menghapuskan tol di Pulau Pinang malah beliau juga begitu prihatin terhadap nasib rakyat apabila berlaku kenaikkan harga barang.

Dalam video ini juga Guan Eng didapati menghentam Tony Pua dan Nurul Izzah kerana tidak menyokong KR1M dan dalam masa yang sama mahukan harga barang dijual dengan harga yang murah. Barang mahal yang dijual oleh kedai kedai diluar sana memang menyentap poket rakyat.


Apabila KR1M diserang oleh pasangan puaka Tony Pua dan Nurul Izzah ini bermakna 2 ekor ini tidak senang duduk apabila harga barang dijual dengan harga yang murah.Guan Eng yang berkempen bagi pihak KR1M yang mahukan barang dijual dengan murah kepada rakyat telah banyak membantu meningkatkan permintaan terhadap KR1M.

PEKAN 15 Jan. - Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak berkata, pembangkang tidak menyedari tindakan mereka mencemuh Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia (KR1M) telah menjadi satu publisiti kepada kedai tersebut.

Perdana Menteri berkata, ini terbukti apabila sebanyak 27 buah KR1M telah dibuka sehingga hari ini malah, jualan setiap kedai itu lebih RM20,000 sehari.

"Saya galakkan mereka untuk terus cemuh dan kritik kedai ini kerana apabila banyak kritik, maka lebih ramai yang akan datang ke situ.

"Malah, jumlah kedai KR1M di seluruh Malaysia sudah 27 buah dan keseluruhannya 85 buah akan beroperasi hingga hujung tahun ini," katanya ketika berucap pada Majlis Perasmian Pusat Komuniti Perumahan Bersepadu dan Perasmian KR1M di Pulau Serai, di sini hari ini.

Hadir sama, Menteri Besar Pahang, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob; Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob dan Pengarah Urusan Mydin Mohamed Holding Berhad, Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin.

Menurut Najib, pembinaan KR1M bukanlah sesuatu yang diuar-uarkan tanpa asas tetapi merupakan satu realiti dan telah terbukti berjaya kerana menawarkan barangan keperluan utama pada harga 40 peratus murah daripada harga pasaran.

"Sekarang ini ke mana sahaja saya pergi, orang ramai akan minta di kawasan mereka untuk dibina kedai KR1M.

"Ini jelas menunjukkan kedai ini mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan daripada orang ramai," katanya.

Kata beliau lagi, kedai di Pulau Serai ini merupakan KR1M yang terbesar di Malaysia dan turut menempatkan Rakyat Mall yang menjual pelbagai keperluan lain.

"Ia boleh dimanfaatkan oleh penduduk Pekan sebagai sebuah destinasi membeli-belah dalam suasana mesra bajet," katanya.

Sementara itu, Rakyat Mall yang dirasmikan oleh Najib hari ini, berkeluasan 1,680 meter persegi adalah merupakan sebuah inovasi baru membeli-belah di bawah satu bumbung buat seisi keluarga.

Beroperasi seawal pukul 10 pagi hingga 10 malam, ia terdiri daripada 24 lot kedai menjual barangan keperluan serta barangan basah seperti ayam, daging, buah buahan, barangan komputer, pakaian, telefon, produk kesihatan dan sebagainya.



Guan Eng merungut barang mahal,sebab tu lah dia buat promosi KR1M,kedai yang diwujudkan oleh BN ini jual murah murah!

Pisau kata " bangang punya Guan Eng,dia ingat semua orang buta perut serupa dia ka,KR1M tu jual barang murah DAP nak sabotaj apahal?"
